Apartment getting struck by lightning and just killing the outlets in one room and not damaging any computer equipment...

Priceless.

I still can't believe that my computer didn't explode from the lightning since the entire circuit it was attached to was fried.

You know you work in a weird place when someone brings in a brown recluse spider and someone else brings a cricket and they throw them in the same jar and watch what happens. I am so going to jump at every spider for months now...

Brown recluses are just evil.
